Premium, Natural and Aromatic will come to your mind the minute you open the bottle of Rajamudi's Organic cold-pressed coconut oil. And you'd be absolutely right!
We handpick the finest, freshest organic coconuts, clean them with utmost care, and patiently wood-press them, without heat or chemicals, to preserve all the nutrients they are naturally packed with. This slow process is what locks in its rich aroma, making it a must-have on your kitchen counter.
Coconuts are naturally packed with up to 65% Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCTs), making it a quick source of energy that can aid in weight management and support heart health. With natural antioxidants and essential nutrients, it's more than just an oil, it's a boost for your overall well-being!
Extraction Process:
Did You Know? We use approximately 2.5kg of fresh organic coconuts to produce just 1 liter of our Organic Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil.
Rajamudi Organics sources organically grown coconuts locally from our farmers in West Karnataka. Each batch is carefully inspected, ensuring that only the finest, most nutrient-rich coconuts are selected for extraction. We use the traditional Kachi Ghani technique, milling these premium coconuts in our cold-press extractor running at 10-20 RPM at room temperature. The controlled, low-speed extraction prevents heat buildup, preserving the oil’s natural nutrients, aroma, and flavor.
Once extracted, the oil is gently filtered through a fine sieve or gada cloth and placed under the sun or in a solar dryer for natural sedimentation. As the sediments settle at the bottom, the pure oil is carefully poured out. Appearance may vary - solid, semi-solid, or liquid. Naturally occurring saturated fats in our organic cold-pressed coconut oil give it a high melting point, causing it to solidify even at room temperature.- just as nature intended.
Unlike commercial oils that go through refining, bleaching, and deodorizing for a uniform, glass-like appearance, Rajamudi’s Cold-Pressed coconut Oil stays true to tradition. Using an ancient extraction method, it retains its natural flavor, aroma, and nutrients.

FAQs
What is the difference between refined and cold-pressed oils?
Refined oils are processed to remove impurities, giving them a neutral taste and high smoke point making them great for deep-frying and high-heat cooking. However, during this refining process, some nutrients and antioxidants can be lost.
On the other hand, cold-pressed oils are made without heat or chemicals, preserving natural nutrients, flavor, and healthy fats. These are perfect for versatile cooking like deep-fry, salad dressing, sizzling, baking and more.
Is it suitable for deep frying?
Cold-pressed coconut oil has a moderate smoke point of around 350°F (177°C), making it ideal for medium-heat cooking like sautéing, stir-frying, and baking. While some people use it for deep frying, it’s best suited for dishes that require a gentle, flavorful touch.
We recommend that you avoid reusing the same batch of oil multiple times for frying or cooking. This applies not just to Rajamudi Organics Cold-Pressed Oils but to any oil, as repeated use can degrade its nutritional value and cause adverse effects.
Is there a noticeable smell?
Yes! Cold-pressed coconut oil has a natural, mild, and sweet coconut aroma. Unlike refined oils, our oil retains its pure, unprocessed fragrance, reminding you of fresh coconuts. If you love the authentic essence of coconut, you'll enjoy its aroma in your dishes!

Cold-pressed coconut oil is a versatile gem! It's used for nourishing skin and hair, keeping them soft, hydrated, and healthy.
